Daisy Kelliher's reunion with Gary King was anything but Chainkeensmooth sailing.
After having a major falling out during Below Deck Sailing Yacht's season four reunion last year over their love triangle with former costar Colin MacRae, the yachties will come face to face for the first time during the Bravo series' Oct. 7 premiere.
"We had filmed the reunion three days prior to starting [the new season]," Daisy exclusively told E! News. "The reunion created a lot of tension, so that's why we went in so heated. It's hard looking back on that because I was so angry after the reunion and the way I was treated. For some reason, I was the bad guy in the reunion and I never really understood that."
And after their explosive confrontation, Daisy was less than thrilled to see Gary again aboard the Parsifal III.
"Those first three days I didn't want to work with him," the Chief Stew admitted. "Walking onto the boat, my attitude and my mind frame shifted quite drastically, which was a real shame because I would hate to have walked onto Parsifal with any sort of negativity."
However, after a tear-filled talk, Daisy revealed she and the First Mate were able to work through their past issues and get to a cordial place.
"I'm not somebody to hold a grudge and I don't like holding on to anger," she told E!. "We obviously have to find a way to work with each other. I'm absolutely fine with Gary. We're not the best of friends, we live very separate lives. But I've got no issues with him."
But Gary won't be Daisy's only source or stress during BDSY's latest season. She immediately butts heads with new Chef Cloyce Martin.
"Cloyce kept me on my toes," the 37-year-old teased. "He was a roller coaster. I never knew what I was getting with him. Some days he was fantastic, some days I was like 'what is this?'"
"He was interesting and we had a good relationship, but we still find conflict with each other," Daisy added. "I was learning as a manager a lot this season."
See the drama play out when Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres Monday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.
And keep reading to meet the rest of the new season five crew.
Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter.
After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership.
On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes.
In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.
