One person was killed and seven others were injured after a shooting at a Nashville coffee shop on Easter.
Metro Nashville Police Department spokesman Don Aaron said two men got into an argument during Sunday brunch at Roasted in the Salemtown neighborhood, and one pulled out a gun, the Tennessean part of the USA TODAY Network reported.
First responders received calls about the shooting at around 3 p.m. The suspected gunman fled in a Mercedes GLS 450 after firing multiple shots.
On Sunday evening, MNPD announced that they were searching for Anton Rucker, 46, in connection to the shooting. Police said Rucker was a convicted felon with previous aggravated assault convictions. He had also previously been arrested on felony drug charges and gun charges, MNPD said, in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

The person fatally shot is believed to be the other man involved in the altercation. Police identified him as 33-year-old Allen Beachem. Five other people were shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Aaron said.
He added that a sixth person also suffered a graze wound. However, it's unclear if the wound was caused by a scratch or a bullet. The seventh victim, a pregnant woman, was transported to a hospital after suffering a panic attack, he said.
Dia Settle, a mother, who was in a nearby playground told the Tennessean that eight gunshots rattled the neighborhood as kids were playing before restaurant patrons ran out into the street screaming and crying.
“Everyone was grabbing the children and running or dropping on the ground,” said Dia Settle. “I got waves of chills because I could tell someone was hurt, just from the sound and that many gunshots.”
